The Library of D.K.N College is now in the new Building attached with a Reading Room for the student and Staff.
LIBRARY RULES:
The college Library contains text books, books for reference and journals. The Staff, the students and others, specially permitted by the principal may use the library books. The library Remains open from 9.00am to 4.30pm during all working days and closed on Sunday & other Holidays
RULES FOR BORROWER OF BOOKS:
- No books should be taken out of the library without knowledge of librarian until it has been entered in issue Register and signed by the borrower.
- Each Borrower must examine the condition of the book before it is issued.
- Books must be returned within the period allowed to a borrower.
- Borrower is required to return all the books issued to them before the college closes for summer vacation.
- A duplicate library card may be issued to a student on receipt of genuine evidence in support of the loss of original card. The student will have to deposit a sum of Rs 20/- only in the account section.
- Students are advised not to remove any picture, page or disturb theme in any other way.
- In case of transfer of the employee’s or students the documents like LPC/TC/council certificates, Mark Sheet should not be issued until an clearance certificate is received from the librarian.
- The professor I\c of the library has the right to stop issue of certain books to Borrowers which are, otherwise called reserved books of reference books.
- Books will be issued to the students on production of both library & Identity card.
- Any book lost or damaged or defaced by a borrower must be replaced by him or her.
- Entry of unauthorized persons into the library is prohibited.
- Spiting, smoking, Sleeping inside the library and putting one’s legs on the library furniture are strictly prohibited.

- All the rules are subject to amendments according to necessity. Persons using the library are required to abide by the rules. Ignorance of library rules is no excuse.
