The name of athletic club is “The D.K.N. College Athletic club”.
The membership is open to all bonafied student of the college and the principal is the Ex office president of the club
Athletic Council:
The Athletic club maintains an Executive committee known as the “Athletic Council” which consists.
- President – Ex officio – Principal
- Vice President – Nominated by the principal from among the teaching Staff.
- Assoc. vice president –Two to three Ass. Vice President are to be nominated by the principal from among teaching Staff.
- The P.E.T
- One student representative from among the student nominated by the principal with the suggestion of Vice President.
- One class representative from each class.
- Captains of all organized outdoor games.
Tenure of office
- The normal tenure of office of athletic council is for one academic session
- The vice president shall hold his office till the principal nominate a new Vice President.
Function of the council:
- To prepare and pass the budget.
- To prompt athletic activities among the students.
- To organize annual athletic meet.
The vice president:
- The Vice President shall remain in charge of accounts and the purchase of sports materials.
- He will act as the superintendent of all games.
The captain :
- The captain will co operates VP & PET to select players both for friendly and competitive match.
- They will take part for the organization of college game..
- The captains will arrange game and matches with prior permission of the vice president and principal.
The P.E.T
- The P.E.T will remain in charge of all the sports materials record & Furniture
- He will look after the play ground.
- He will perform all such duties as assigned to him by the vice president.
- He will organize P.T. Classes including Drill and Gymnastics.
General Ruler of account
- The vice president will draw the money and will be responsible for the expenditure as per the budget.
- The P.E.T or manager deputed for one game may Draw the money for conduct of that game with the knowledge of V.P. and responsible for the expenditure.
- Every student shall pay to the club their subscription annually.
